Some seasons are measured by trophies. Others are measured by growth, grit, heart, and the foundation they build for the future.

This year Unity Junior High School gave our community something special to believe in. 

Cicero District 99 proudly congratulates both our Boys Volleyball teams on extraordinary seasons filled with determination, discipline, and relentless effort.

Our 8th Grade Varsity team battled their way to a remarkable 12-3 record, finishing 3rd in conference and proving week after week that they belonged among the very best. Our 7th grade JV team mirrored that same excellence, finishing 11-3 and also earning a 3rd place conference finish in an unforgettable season of their own.

Both teams came heartbreakingly close to championship appearances, falling just short in the final round. But what these young athletes accomplished cannot be measured by one match alone.

They represented Unity with pride. They competed with toughness. They learned how to respond to pressure, adversity, and expectation. Most important — they built a culture.

A culture of accountability. A culture of brotherhood. A culture that says the Unity Volleyball Program is not coming... it has arrived.

To our players: thank you for your sacrifice, leadership, and heart. To coach Guerrero: thank you for investing countless hours into building young men both on and off the court. To our families, staff, classmates, and supporters: thank you for standing behind these teams every step of the way.

The scoreboard may say the season is over. But anyone who watched this group knows something bigger has just begun.

The future of Unity Volleyball is incredibly bright. And these Tigers are only getting started.
