Cicero District 99 is bursting with pride as we celebrate the incredible achievements of our Unity Jr. High Special Olympics athletes at the 2025 Summer Games held down at Illinois State University in Bloomington, IL!

🔥 Our soccer team battled through rain, heat, overtime, and even a shootout — and emerged victorious as your 2025 Special Olympics State Champions! 

The victories didn't stop there:
🥇 Two of our athletes brought home gold medals in the Javelin
🥈 One earned a silver medal — a huge accomplishment!

These athletes showed unshakable determination, heart, and resilience, pushing through challenging weather and pressure-packed moments. They proved that no challenge is too big when you compete with courage and unity.

👏 We are SO proud of our athletes, our coaches, and the entire Special Olympics program at Unity. This is more than a win — it's a testament to the power of perseverance, teamwork, and community support.
